We are delighted to reveal the first partnership in our Firsthand series is Yorkshire-based leather workers, specialising in custom hip flasks, HÔRD.
THE HÔRD STORY
Beginning their journey ten years ago, HÔRD started creating small leather goods, specialising in hip flasks. Utilising leather remnants that would otherwise end up in landfill, HÔRD find the beauty in the remnants of leather and shape them into gifts that last. Each item is hand-dyed and hand-treated with waxes to ensure each item is given the attention it deserves.
Based in Marsden, on the edge of the Peak District, they are a family-run business that take great pride in their craftsmanship, taking time, care and attention to ensure that each individual detail is handcrafted to perfection. From their studio and shop in Yorkshire, they create unique products inspired by the landscape around them, encouraging their customers to take adventure with them wherever they go.
We are incredibly inspired by their passion, commitment to sustainable solutions, and dedication to the handmade process which is why we are pleased to collaborate with them on such a special product.
After working together for many months on the detail and design, we are delighted to announce our very special limited-edition hipflasks with HÔRD handmade by the founders Gemma Gilleard and Jason Booth.
