Contrasts: Kiln Dried Oak
The way the oak has been dried imparts exciting flavours to our limited-edition release in the Contrasts series, Kiln Dried Oak.
Using Virgin American oak casks means there has been nothing previously held in the casks which has an influence on the flavour profile of this single malt Scotch whisky.
The casks used for the Kiln Dried Oak release have undergone an accelerated drying process in a kiln, leading to notes of malted biscuit, lemon and apple as well as menthol when interacting with our Benromach spirit.
