Our Cask Strength Vintage single malt is a firm favourite among our Friends of Benromach.

Our Cask Strength Vintages are released in small batches and bottled at their natural cask strength.

The Cask Strength Vintage 2014, Batch 03, offers a “direct from the cask” experience transporting you into one of our traditional dunnage warehouses. This release has matured for a decade in exclusively first-fill bourbon and sherry casks, which brings rich fruitcake aromas, with stewed plum, marmalade and spicy black pepper flavours then finishes with lingering smoke and a hint of aniseed.

 



 
 

Tasting Notes

Colour

Light Mahogany.

Aroma

Sweet vanilla aromas lead to fruitcake, brown sugar and spicy ginger. Cinnamon notes combine with milk chocolate and oak.

Palate

Creamy and spicy with stewed plum, Seville orange and cracked black pepper. Toasted oak and subtle liquorice develop.

Finish

Long and full with lingering smoke and a hint of aniseed.

Benromach Cask Strength vintage 2014

Light mahogany in colour, this limited release was distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2024 at 60.6% abv.

The maturation process at Benromach is tightly controlled, with our whiskies regularly being monitored by our expert team to maintain excellent quality standards.

We suggest tasting this Cask Strength Vintage slowly and neat to begin, then adding water to dilute and enhance the aromas and flavours.
