Our double gold award-winning Benromach 21 Year Old is matured in the finest first-fill sherry and bourbon casks for over two decades.

Enjoy a deepened progression in age with a more nuanced sherry influence of the Benromach signature style of fruit, creamy malt and elegant smokiness.

Experience luscious flavours of subtle spice and Seville orange derived from the sherry-seasoned oak casks sourced from the “Sherry triangle”, Jerez in Spain. The charred oak finish is influenced by the bourbon barrels.

 

 



 
 

Tasting Notes

Colour

Dark Amber.

Aroma

Sweet Sherry aromas with underlying citrus, ginger and oak notes, accompanied by a touch of smoke.

Palate

Sweet initially with cracked black pepper, Seville orange and raspberry flavours lead to baked apple and subtle spice.

Finish

Charred oak and soft smoke.

Benromach 21 Year Old

We take great care to ensure we have the best quality oak casks which we source from America and Spain. Most of the flavour and character of the spirit is developed from the wood.

Our team of distillers use all their senses and do everything by hand at Benromach distillery to ensure we make whisky with genuine character.

The pinnacle of our Core Range, this single malt has matured for 21 years and we recommend that this is a whisky to sip and savour with friends.
