This expression from the signature range has matured exclusively in first-fill sherry and bourbon casks for 10 years. You’ll experience delicious forest fruits, creamy malt and a touch of smoke, which are characteristic of our house style.

Through producing a modern take on the lost, subtly smoky taste of Speyside, we use lightly peated malted barley through our traditional process which delivers a delicate hint of smoke.

Colour

Golden amber.

Aroma

Sweet green apple and pear complement creamy dark honey. Soft vanilla develops alongside gentle smoke.

Palate

Smooth flavours of malted cereal and stewed fruit combine with warm toffee and a hint of black cherry.

Finish

Full bodied finish with malted cereal and soft smoke.

Benromach 10 Year Old

The craftsmanship that goes into Benromach is based on decades of experience and we strive for the finest ingredients, using made-by-hand methods to make a whisky with genuine character.

Our Scottish barley is grown locally and malted with a little peat smoke to our exact specifications. In more technical terms, we average between 10-12 parts per million (PPM) phenol level content in our malted barley for our Benromach Signature Range imparting a subtle, smoky taste.

At Benromach we pride ourselves on the fact that all our whiskies are natural colour, meaning the colour of the whisky is influenced solely by the spirit interaction with the wood. We only use the finest quality oak casks and do not add anything to create the vibrant amber coloured liquid in the bottle.
