Benromach 15 year old (40%) Single Speyside Malt Scotch Whisky (no longer available)

From our stocks of Benromach, we selected individual casks which were vatted together and returned to cask to 'marry' for a minimum of six months. To ensure consistency we only ever used two-thirds with the final third being vatted with the next batch of casks.

This product was replaced by the 18 year old whisky in Summer 2002.

Tasting note – Benromach 15 year old (40%)

Colour: Pale amber.
Nose: Summer fruits, raspberries, brambles with dry floral undertones.
Palate: The dryness is evident with herbal and cinnamon notes.
Body: Light
Finish: Herbal notes are faintly present

Colour: Bright amber.
Nose: Sherry, nuts, flowers.
Palate: Creamy, oily, flowery, lightly smoky, sherry-ish.
Body: Very creamy.
Finish: Flowery, nutty, creamy.
