Benromach 12 year old (40%) Single Speyside Malt Scotch Whisky (no longer available)

From our stocks of Benromach, we selected individual casks, which were vatted together and returned to cask to 'marry' for a minimum of six months. To ensure consistency we only ever used two-thirds with the final third being vatted with the next batch of casks.

This product was replaced by the 15 year old whisky.

Michael Jackson is internationally the most widely published author on whisky. His Malt Whisky Companion is the world’s best selling book on the subject and is in its revised 5th edition. Jackson is a Master of the Quaich.


Colour: Full gold.
Nose: Very flowery. Lightly peaty.
Palate: Light, firm maltiness. Lightly creamy. Hints of apricot and garden mint.
Body: Medium and firm.
Finish: Flowery, slightly sharp. Faint peat smoke.
